نبذة مختصرة : ENGLISH: A community must have an identity that is different from other groups, therefore each association or group must have a differentiator which symbolizes that the group is a particular group through their respective identities. The identity in question can be in the form of an attitude of behavior or an utterance in the form of a language, as an example of the cryptocurrency community on Twitter. The cryptocurrency community exists a lot on social media Twitter, because it is a place where news about the world of cryptocurrencies appears. For example, CoinDesk is always current in providing cryptocurrency news and has millions of followers. This research examines a type of register speech which aims to find out the types of registers and their use by the cryptocurrency community on Twitter. This study uses Halliday and Hasan's (1985) register theory using a qualitative descriptive method. This study shows that researchers found 52 registers used by the crypto community on the official CoinDesk Twitter account and in understanding these registers, situational factors such as field, mode, and tenor are needed as important elements in providing a clear understanding. For future researchers, it is hoped that they can develop register research using the same theory or a different theory from other register experts by using recent community objects so that this register theory always exist and help many people understand the register itself as additional knowledge.
