Метою статті стало дослідження генези та визначення тенденцій розвитку іншомовної професійної освіти в контексті входження України до єдиного світового інформаційного та освітнього простору. Окреслена мета дослідження зумовила вибір комплексу взаємопов’язаних методів дослідження, а саме: загальнотеоретичні – аналіз, синтез, узагальнення, систематизація; методи історико‐педагогічного дослідження: історико–генетичний, історико– структурний, порівняльно–історичний, предметно–хронологічної ретроспекції, прогностичний.Здійснено ретроспективний аналіз становлення та розвитку іншомовної професійної освіти в Україні, визначено тенденції розвитку в умовах інтеграції України до єдиного світового інформаційного та освітнього простору ; The purpose of the article was to study the genesis and determine the tendencies of foreign language professional education development of Ukraine in the context of integration into a single global information and educational space. The designated purpose of the study determined the choice of a complex of interrelated research methods, namely: general theoretical ‐ analysis, synthesis, generalization, systematization; methods of historical and pedagogical research: historical‐genetic, historical‐structural, comparative‐ historical, subject‐chronological retrospection, prognostic. A retrospective analysis of the formation and development of foreign language vocational education in Ukraine has been carried out, development trends have been identified in the context of Ukraine's integration into a single global information space. It is proved that the formation and development of foreign language professional education in Ukraine took place in accordance with the socio‐political, cultural and humanitarian development of the country, in the context of general European trends, but with its own national, specific, primarily related to traditions, features.
