      This research aims to determine the relationship between conscientiousness personality and job characteristics on employee performance at PT X, involving a total of 98 employees. Sampling was conducted using a simple random sampling technique. The research instruments included a conscientiousness personality scale, job characteristics scale, and employee performance scale. The results of the major hypothesis test showed a significance level of ( p = 0.013 ) ( p 0.05 ), indicating a significant relationship between conscientiousness personality and job characteristics on employee performance. The results of the first minor hypothesis test, which analyzed the correlation coefficient between conscientiousness personality and employee performance, showed an ( rx1y ) coefficient of 0.294 with a p value of 0.000 ( p 0.01 ), indicating a significant relationship between these two variables. The results of the second hypothesis test, which analyzed the correlation coefficient between job characteristics and employee performance, showed a coefficient of 0.209 with a significance level of ( p = 0.000 ) ( p 0.01 ). This indicates that job characteristics have a very significant effect on employee performance. Therefore, the hypothesis stating that there is a relationship between conscientiousness personality and job characteristics on employee performance was accepted, with an effective contribution of 8.7%.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kepribadian conscientiousness dan karakteristik pekerjaan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT X yang berjumlah 98 karyawan. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Simple random sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan skala kepribadian conscientiousness, karakteristik pekerjaan, dan kinerja karyawan. Hasil dari hipotesis mayor diperoleh sebesar 0.295 dengan taraf signifikansi p sebesar 0,013 (p0,05).
