Teeth sensitivity has recently become an especially widespread health problem. A lot of people in the world increasingly experience sudden short – termed tooth pain when they consume cold or hot drinks, eat ice – cream, breath in cold weather, etc. The problem of teeth sensitivity is quite often and has sufficiently many possible solutions; however, the scope of the problem is not deacreasing, and it is difflicult to find an appropriate tratment for this. People suffering from teeth tensitivity are not able to conduct full life, to enjoy certain food or drinks, as well as tehir personal dental hygiene gets worse. Deteriorating of dental hygiene causes different diseases such as caries, periodontitis, which become the reason for loosing teeth. Object of the work: dental hygiene of patients with sensitive teeth. Aim of the work: assessment of Dental hygiene of patients with sensitive teeth. Tasks of the work: 1. To assess the knowledge of the patients with sensitive teeth about individual dental hygiene. 2. To analyse sensitivity in the patients with sensitive teeth by using Schiff sensitivity scale and their individual denatl hygiene by using O‘Leary index before and after professional dental hygiene and individual dental hygiene training. 3. To compare dental hygiene of patients with sensitive teeth before professional dental hygiene procedures and after professional dental hygiene procedures and individual dental hygiene training. Method of research: A qualitative study – case study. Insights 1. Knowledge of the patients with sensitive teeth, who participated in the research, about individual dental hygiene is not suffitient.
