Bienestar psicológico en los estudiantes de la carrera de Psicopedagogía de la Universidad Nacional de Chimborazo

The objective of this research work was to determine the dimensions of psychological well-being of the students of the Psychopedagogy Career of the National University of Chimborazo. Psychological well-being is connected to mental health, which is characterized by a condition of complete physical, mental and social well-being. It is associated with the prevention of mental disorders, treatment and rehabilitation of individuals affected by these disorders. It is the ability to maintain rationalistic and changing relationships with the world, which allow solving the internal difficulties of the individual and those of the latter with the social environment. Methodologically, the research had a quantitative, non-experimental, correlational, basic, field and cross-sectional approach. The population corresponded to the students of the National University of Chimborazo, the sample was non-probabilistic and intentional, made up of students in the fourth, fifth and sixth semesters of the Psychopedagogy career; the technique was the Psychometric Test and the instrument was the Carol Ryff Psychological Well-Being Scale, which contains 39 items distributed in 6 dimensions, through which it was possible to obtain the data that allowed the analysis of the results to be generated. Concluding that women scored higher in self-acceptance, autonomy, mastery of the environment, life purpose and personal growth; while men in positive relationships, this may be due to the fact that culture is modified and influences sexual roles, these inequalities tend to disappear, mainly in the population of university students with whom we have worked. ; El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar las dimensiones de bienestar psicológico de los estudiantes de la Carrera de Psicopedagogía de la Universidad Nacional de Chimborazo.
