Müfessirin bilmesi gereken ilimler: İsfahânî ve Süyûtî mukayesesi ; Sciences that the examiner should know: A comparison of Isfahânî and Suyûtî

Tefsir ilminin kaynaklarının neler olduğu ve kimlerin tefsir yapabileceği hususu erken dönemden itibaren tartışılmıştır. Tarihi süreç içinde ehil olmayan kişilerin kendi şahsî, mezhebî vb. açılardan tefsir yapmaları tepkilere neden olmuştur. Bu durum müfessirde bazı şartların aranması sonucunu doğurmuştur. Bu şartlardan dolayı müfessirin bazı ilimleri bilmesi gerektiği fikri ortaya çıkmıştır. Müfessirin bilmesi gereken ilimler hususunda ihtilaflı birçok görüş ortaya çıkmıştır. Müfessirin bilmesi gereken ilimler, zamana ve şartlara göre değişmektedir. Bu bakımdan klasik dönem âlimlerinin görüşleri ile yakın zamanda yaşamış düşünürlerin görüşleri arasında farklılıklar görünmektedir. Bundan dolayı Müfessirin bilmesi gereken ilimler konusu ele alınırken farklı dönemler, kendi dönemi çerçevesinde değerlendirilmelidir. Bu hususta Râgıb el-İsfahânî (ö.400/1010 ?) ve Süyûtî (ö. 911/1505) görüşlerini ifade eden en önemli âlimler arasındadır.
