Several hypotheses and pedagogical proposals are created to clarify the barriers, among them the use of games. The games promote playfulness in teaching, student motivation, autonomy, practice and creation in their study context. Thinking about the inclusion of this alternative is a possible way to change and overcome dissatisfaction with the subjects of introduction to Programming, since the use of games develops some skills listed as essential requirements for professionals of the future. This work aimed to analyze the Veritek Game computerized as a tool for learning in the discipline of Programming in technical school. This research is delineated as a methodology of qualitative, exploratory and descriptive approach regarding the objectives, and of field regarding the technical procedures. The questionnaire was used as a data collection instrument, which was applied to students from the Information and Communication of the Institute Federal Farroupilha- Campus São Vicente do Sul. The implementation of the game demonstrated that the games deserve a space in the pedagogical practice of the educators, being ancillary to the teaching methods, being a motivating strategy and that helps in the students learning. Educational technologies come as a new possibility for education, which overcomes characteristics of the traditional school and enables an interactive school environment, which favors teamwork and understands everyday situations. ; Os desafios da Educação Técnica são enormes no que tange a permanência e evasão, principalmente em cursos técnicos relacionados à área da Computação.
