Konkurentnost razvoja heritage hotela ; Competitiveness in development of heritage hotels

Tematika diplomskog rada istražuje konkurentnost razvoja heritage hotela. Oni čine specifičan dio hrvatske turističke ponude, a sudeći prema svjetskim trendovima imaju predispozicije za budući razvoj i obogaćivanje turističke ponude. Heritage hoteli pružaju priliku gostima upoznati kulturu sredine u koju dolaze, ali i njezinu arhitekturu i gastronomiju. Predstavljaju dio turističke ponude putem koje je moguće obogatiti i tematizirati dosadašnju hotelijersku ponudu. Samim time dolazi do privlačenja novih segmenata potrošača, produljenja sezonskog poslovanja, a i posljedično bi utjecaj na samo gospodarstvo bio pozitivan. Važno je napomenuti da ovakav vid hotela doprinosi očuvanju kulturno-povijesnog naslijeđa kroz obnovu i održavanje povijesnih građevina. Cilj je produljenje turističke sezone i podizanje konkurentnosti malog i srednjeg poduzetništva u turizmu i razvoja turističke destinacije kroz povećanje kvalitete i dodatne ponude hotela. ; The topic of this thesis explores the competitiveness of heritage hotel development. Heritage hotels form a specific segment of the Croatian tourism industry, and, judging by global trends, they have strong potential for future development and for enriching the country's tourism offerings. These hotels provide guests with the opportunity to experience the cultural environment they are visiting, including its architecture and gastronomy. They represent a segment of the tourism market through which it is possible to diversify and enhance the existing hotel offerings. This, in turn, leads to attracting new consumer segments, extending the business season, and consequently having a positive impact on the economy. It is also important to note that this type of hotel contributes to the preservation of cultural and historical heritage through the renovation and maintenance of historic buildings.
