Perception of sixth grade students of Primary Education in relation to their environmental attitudes ; Perceção dos alunos do sexto ano da Educação Primária em relação às suas atitudes ambientais

This research aims to learn about the perceptions of 101 students of the sixth year of Primary Education in three Galician schools about their environmental attitudes according to criteria such as: age, sex, studies and profession of fathers and mothers, environment of the center, as well as the ownership of the school. For this, a scale of the ROSE Project known as “The environment and me” has been used, consisting of 15 Likert items. The results obtained indicate significant differences in the sex variable, where the girls showed to have more proenvironmental attitudes than the boys. Significant differences were also found in the profession and studies of the mothers of the students analyzed. ; A presente investigação tem como objetivo conhecer as perceções de 101 alunos do sexto ano da Educação Primária em três centros educativos galegos sobre as suas atitudes ambientais, segundo critérios como: idade, sexo, estudos e profissão dos pais, contexto do centro e a titularidade do mesmo. Para isso, foi utilizada uma escala do Projeto ROSE conhecida como "O medio ambiente e eu", composta por 15 elementos do tipoLikert. Os resultados obtidos indicam diferenças significativas na variável sexo, onde as raparigas mostraram atitudes mais favoráveis ao ambiente do que que os rapazes. Também se notaram diferenças significativas na profissão e nos estudos das mães dos alunos analisados.
