Urbanismo e saúde: projeto de equipamento para atenção primária à saúde em vazio urbano na região Oeste de Juiz de Fora, MG.

This research capitulates, in an analytical and purposeful way, a synthesis on projects of architecture and urbanism, in the territory of health, through historiographical and epistemological analysis with a bibliographic review of academic publications like research, theses, dissertations, books and scientific journals exploring the themes: history of architecture projects related to the concepts of health, primary health care and urban territory. The theme results from the municipal plan to expand the primary health care sector in the West region of Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais, Brasil, object of study of this research, which generates the demand for research and technologies for the built health environments and on the urban ecosystem where the public equipment is located. The second part of this monograph concerns a critical analysis of health environments, with focus on primary care, to understand the functions, flows and sectorization of these environments, as well as design solutions for accessibility and technical specificities, such as acoustic, thermal and luminous comfort, energy efficiency solutions, materials and structures. It includes, through case studies, the analysis of specific norms for primary health care environments and a brief review of spaces for health through graphic representations and photographs.
