      In the digital society in which we live, wrapped in information that is continually updated and arranged in our hands, the image of students going to school with stacks of books, dictionaries, notebooks divided into specific subjects in which they continue to copy contents sketched on a blackboard or verbally passed on remains. . These are not students, but the new Alpha generation, which seeks to no longer memorize questionnaires and dictations, but a connection between their colleagues, the outside world and teachers, as mediators of knowledge and learning. The Teacher, in turn, has a new phase of learning ahead of him, recycling old concepts, methods and ideas, absorbing new technologies, implanting them in teaching environments, to make didactics more captivating and productive. Research on the interaction between society and methods of education is not current, the search for this conception has been going on for a long time, however, much is said, studied, criticized, but reality presents itself in another way. This work aims to clarify this reality in today's society, in which more than ever technology is sought to share knowledge, exposing the lack of our teachers in relation to technology and native digital students, in order to stimulate research and use of this new way of teaching ; UAB - Universidade Aberta do Brasil ; Na sociedade digital em que vivemos, envoltos às informações continuamente atualizadas e dispostas em nossas mãos, perdura a imagem de alunos indo à escola com pilhas de livros, dicionários, cadernos divididos em matérias específicas nos quais continuam a copiar conteúdos esboçados em quadro ou passados verbalmente. Esses não são alunos, mas a nova geração Alpha, que busca não mais memorizar questionários e ditados, mas conexão entre seus colegas, o mundo externo e os docentes, como mediadores do saber e do aprender.
