      International audience ; This poster proposal examines the perception of creativity among vocational high school students, shedding light on its role in teaching applied arts and artistic cultures and its impact on inclusive education. The aim is to illuminate the various ways in which students perceive creativity and understand how this perception evolves during their education. This research aligns with the OECD's objectives for 2030, emphasizing the importance of creativity in educational processes. We adopted a mixed methodology, combining a quantitative survey of 596 students and qualitative interviews with 40 students from vocational high schools in the Aix-Marseille academy. The quantitative phase involved the distribution of online questionnaires, while the qualitative phase consisted of structured interviews. This approach allowed for a thorough exploration of students' representations of creativity and their evolution during their education. The results show that creativity is perceived in various ways by students, ranging from a process to a skill, a source of inspiration, and an action of achievement. Students associated creativity with terms such as innovation, design, and originality, reflecting a broad and varied understanding of this concept. Our study also reveals that the teaching of applied arts plays a significant role in developing students' creative perspectives, highlighting its importance in vocational training. The discussion highlights the relevance of creativity in vocational education, not only as a technical skill but also as a means of promoting empathy and inclusivity. The implications for educational programs are numerous, including the need to integrate creative approaches to address the challenges of 21st-century education. This proposal contributes to a better understanding of the place of creativity in vocational education and highlights its role in preparing students for an ever-changing world.
