There is a table with food on it behind her, and a young woman is holding a plate, helping herself to the food. ; While a student, Dottie Potter Zenaty was a member of the tennis, field hockey, softball, and basketball teams. Zenaty then served as the head field hockey coach for thirty-four seasons, during which she coached more matches than any other coach in college field hockey history. With a record of 377-233-43 (.610 winning percentage), she also won more matches than any coach in New England and ranks fifth on college field hockey’s all-time victory list. In 1988, Zenaty assisted with the selection of the U.S. Olympic Team. The following year, she served as an assistant coach for the U.S. Junior Under-21 Team that competed in the first World Cup Championship and coached the Junior National squad in the Pan-American Games. She has coached in five U.S. Olympic Sports Festivals and supervised four NCAA Division I Championships. Zenaty retired in 2004 and was inducted into the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Hall of Fame that year.
