付加疑問文のイントネーション ―研究と教育への応用― ; Intonation of Tag Question -An Application of Research and Education-

In this paper, we will examine intonation of tag question. In that case, we will take English way of thinking and so on into account. It seems to us that cognitive linguistics has provided very useful insights in almost every field of linguistics. It says in the theory that “when the form has changed, the meaning has changed, too.” I think this principle applies to English intonation, as well. This time, we will focus on the usage of constant-polarity tag question in particular. Finally, we will state a few problems to be solved in the future. ; イントネーションには、いろいろな機能があることが報告されている。伊関（2017,pp.106-39）では、イントネーションの談話機能（特に Brazil の音調理論）に注目して詳述するとともに、この理論の英語教育への適用可能性ということを追究してきた。 今回は、イントネーションについて筆者が過去において発表してきた論考を基にして、さまざまな角度から興味深い問題点を考察していくことにする。付加疑問文については、詳細に検討していく。 要するに、イントネーションの違いがあれば、たとえ話し手の発話内容が同じであっても、聞き手によっては異なった印象を受けるということは当然ありうる。さらに言えば、日本語は英語に比べてイントネーションへの依存度が低い言語であるということがよく言われる。このことは、言語（イントネーション）の普遍性を考える上で大変重要な事実である。 言語の普遍性についての考察は、大変興味深いかつ大きなテーマであるといえる。 ; departmental bulletin paper
