O ensino de fungos nas escolas: uma análise de características dos trabalhos publicados em anais edições do Encontro Nacional de Ensino de Biologia

      This study is characterized as a bibliographic research, which aimed to investigate works addressing contents regarding to fungi realized in the basic education where the students have been any contact with this contend. The analysis was based in the last four volumes of the proceedings of the “Encontro Nacional de Ensino de Biologia” (ENEBIO). The study of the Kingdom Fungi belongs to curriculum of the basic education’ students, whether they study it aspasa living organisms, ecological relationships or microbiology. The teaching of this group of organisms is very important. The society uses diverse products originated from fungi and/or their interactions with other organisms (e.g., bacteria, algae), but they are underexplored due lack of knowledge or erroneous thoughts about this thopic. As example we have the term ‘fungi’ associated only with diseases or rotting the food. However, we know that these organisms occupy many ecosystems, and have an important role in the society, being important in the medicine, ecology, feeding, among other. Thus, scientific literacy is necessary to elucidate about this theme, and make the people to have knowledge and understanding. Indeed, valuing these organisms and the scientific knowledge have the starting point in the classroom, place where the students will build their scientific thoughts regarding to many themes. Scientific literacy is necessary to elucidate the subject, and make all people to understand the importance and value of these organisms. This scientific knowledge in general begins within the classroom, where the students will build their scientific thoughts about many topics, and take to theis daily life, understanding the importance that each biological organism has to the society. ; O presente trabalho é caracterizado como uma pesquisa bibliográfica documental que buscou investigar trabalhos que abordassem o conteúdo de fungos realizados na educação básica, fazendo com que os estudantes tenham o mínimo contato com esse conteúdo.
