      This work, based on Bakhtin (1999, 2003) and Mercado (2002), aims at offering students in Teacher Education programs some considerations on the use of media through teacher-student verbal interactions. The research originated from a review of the course curriculum. This showed the lack of a specific subject and / or contents that deal with the use of media and new technologies. The problem persists because this model prepares teachers who will eventually work with elementary school children in the traditional methodology of a Jesuit type of education. Therefore, we offer a study that points out the use of technologies and media in the classroom. ; Este trabalho, cujo enfoque está em Bakhtin(1999 e 2003) e Mercado (2002), objetiva oferecer aos alunos do Curso Normal umareflexão acerca do uso de mídias através da interação verbal professor-alunos. A pesquisateve origem na análise do currículo do curso,quando se observou a ausência de umadisciplina e/ou conteúdos que versem sobreo uso das mídias e das novas tecnologias. Oproblema persiste porque essa modalidadeforma professores que estarão lecionando acrianças no Ensino Fundamental nos moldestradicionais de uma educação jesuítica. Sendoassim, oferecemos um estudo que visualize ouso das tecnologias e mídias na sala de aula.
