Applying psychology to health issues: not last decade’s approach

This presentation opens the symposium Implementing and Evaluating Health Behavior Interventions, and contains an overview of the issues to be discussed in subsequent talks, as well as a succinct statement of the challenges and advantages of the current state of health behavior research. In particular, the talk will address the current call for accountability and the opportunities provided by quasi-experimental methodology of a nationwide scale.
