نبذة مختصرة : Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy is considered to be an important spectroscopic tool to detect the qualitative parameters in the several materials. Aim of this study is to compare the spectroscopic data of five different fruit peel samples. Fruit peels are the byproduct of any fruit and after peeling of any fruit, peels are discarded. Peels are the good source of organic materials, and those organic molecules has been detected with the Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. Five different fruits that are Mango, Watermelon, Muskmelon, Banana, Papaya and Apple fruits have been peeled and peeled were used for further experimentation. Perkin Elmer Fourier Transform infrared spectrometer with the spectral range of 4000-400 cm-1 was used for sample analysis. IR spectral data of five different fruit samples have been compared and concluded with the presence of different organic IR active molecule.
