نبذة مختصرة : Qualitative research requires permanent epistemological vigilance; however, measures of scientific rigor are not always described in the publications. From an investigation of final degree projects (TFC) of teacher training students on the development of scientific competences, the following are described: testing of the instrument for thematic classification, testing, and validation of the a priori categories system and construction of ad hoc repertoire of scientific competences. The results indicate that the use of the UNESCO Thesaurus is adequate to classify the TFC topics, accompanied by an informal thematic classification. The categorical system showed solidity in the testing; the validation by expert judgment did not lead to contradictions, although they made contributions. The repertoire of scientific competencies is innovatived, it includes the socio-community dimension, health, and sustainable development. The qualities and limitations of the thesaurus were studied in-depth, which helps to decide its use. The efforts in the construction of the a priori category system will favorably result in the generation of other instruments and emerging categories. The repertoire of scientific competences is related to a conception of science, which guides educational practices at school. This work is expected to contribute to researchers in training. ; La investigación cualitativa requiere vigilancia epistemológica permanente, sin embargo, las medidas de rigurosidad científica no siempre son descritas en las publicaciones.
