A formação inicial e continuada em educação física e a preparação para a função de gestor(a) ; The initial and continual education in physical education and the preparation for the management function

Monografia (especialização) - Universidade Federal de Santa Maria, Centro de Educação, Curso de Especialização em Gestão Educacional, EaD, RS, 2015. ; The research was performed at an Institution of Higher Education in the city of Santa Rosa – RS with teachers of the Physical Education Graduation Course, having as main approach the analyzes of the educational practice of Physical Education teachers in the ambit of educational management. Because of this, this research can be considered as a case study. It had as an objective to check the relevancy of a solid and quality degree course for the professional future and consequently the importance of the continual education; to analyze which emergent necessity to reinforce the formal education, to the citizenship exercise. Ascertain which work has been developed to prepare and qualify academicians to assume functions of administration, pedagogical coordination and management at their likely workplaces (schools). The results indicated that the teachers consider as extremely important the work of the manager, the same must be critical, reflexible, flexible and democratic and disagree about the preparation of academicians to assume the function of management, a teacher answered that this preparation is not done in the graduation course. According to the data collection it is possible to realize how much the initial education lacks concepts, theory and pedagogical practices that ensure the effectuation of a study in the management area. ; A pesquisa foi realizada em uma Instituição de Ensino Superior do Município de Santa Rosa/RS com os professores da Graduação Licenciatura em Educação Física, tendo como abordagem principal analisar a prática pedagógica dos Professores de Educação Física no âmbito da gestão educacional.
