Experience report on the participation of students from IFNMG campus Almenara in the 23RD MINIONU ; Relato de experiência sobre a participação dos estudantes do IFNMG - campus Almenara no 23º MINIONU

This experience report covers the participation of students from the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Northern Minas Gerais (IFNMG) - Almenara campus in the 23rd MINIONU, an event that simulates committees of the United Nations (UN). Held in Belo Horizonte in October 2022, MINIONU provided a unique educational opportunity for the participants, who represented countries and organizations in debates on global issues. The methodology involved months of intensive preparation with guidance from IFNMG professors and PUC-Minas International Relations students, including studies of specific bibliographies. During the event, the students debated and drafted resolution proposals, facing challenges such as the need to communicate in English and the resolution of simulated crises. The results highlighted the positive impact on the participants' civic and academic education, as evidenced by the development of argumentation skills and team collaboration.
