El deseo de una fillosofía narrativa: Jaime Rubio lector de Paul Ricœur ; The Desire of A Narrative Philosophy: Jaime Rubio: A Ricœur's Reader

El autor quiere recordar al menos un horizonte de la enseñanza de Rubio: su anhelo de un reconocimiento filosófico para el relato. Este deseo nunca supuso en él una ruptura con el concepto; antes bien, quiso dirigir éste a explicitar el trabajo del relato como modo fundamental de expresión, transformación y enriquecimiento de nuestra experiencia. En esta forma, entrelazando a Rubio con Ricœur, el autor muestra que este camino, antes de achatar la filosofía, la lleva más allá de sí misma y le evita reducirse a una cuestión de textos y problemas, para regresarla al lugar y al papel que tenía en la antigüedad: el enriquecimiento de la experiencia misma. Tras exponer sucintamente la noción ricoeuriana de Triple Mimesis, el autor acoge las preocupaciones de Rubio que vinculan la inteligencia narrativa con la acción, con la sabiduría práctica y el juicio moral prudente, existentes aún en todo acto de leer. Es así como, finalmente, Rubio hace eco al conatus de la identidad narrativa, de una vida poética no sólo individual sino colectiva, en su lectura y enseñanza de Ricœur. ; Rubio's desire for a philosophic recognition of narrative is evoked as a horizon of his teaching by the author of this essay.
