      Recurrent in scientific publications and national curriculum documents, interdisciplinarity has been discussed in different contexts over the last few decades, especially from the possibility of reconnecting knowledge, as proposed by Edgar Morin. In this sense, we sought to investigate how interdisciplinarity is present in the National Common Curriculum Base of Secondary Education (NCCB) - a normative educational document of the Basic Education curricula of national scope -, especially from the area of knowledge of the Natural Sciences and its Technologies, considering Morin's complex thinking as an epistemological approach. For that, a descriptive qualitative approach of the documentary research type was adopted, whose methodological course consisted of three stages: study of theoretical references; analysis of specific excerpts from the NCCB, according to the Discursive Textual Analysis; and elaboration of the metatext from the analytical categories. Interdisciplinarity and complexity are subtly present in sparse parts of the document, without explanation of theoretical, methodological, epistemological or pedagogical foundations and references on these themes. This finding highlights gaps that need to be discussed, considering the scale and importance of the NCCB in the consolidation of several other educational policies in the country. ; Recurrente en publicaciones científicas y documentos curriculares nacionales, la interdisciplinariedad ha sido discutida en diferentes contextos a lo largo de las últimas décadas, especialmente a partir de la posibilidad de reconectar saberes, como propone Edgar Morin.
