      Genus Opetiopoda Gaud and Atyeo, 1981 Type species: Opetiopoda anadermura Gaud and Atyeo, 1981 by original designation. Prior to now, the genus Opetiopoda has been monobasic, including only the type species O. anadermura Gaud and Atyeo, 1981 from Puffinus pacificus (Gmelin) (Procellariiformes: Procellariidae). This genus represents the most morphologically basal lineage within the subfamily Ingrassiinae (Mironov 2005). This is the only genus within the subfamily that retains all four pairs of median hysteronotal setae (c1, d1, e1 and h1).
