      This study investigates doctor - patient interaction DPI in Cairene spoken Arabic . The researcher adopts the conversation analysis approach on Arabic data of DPI which has not been tackled before . There are 7 samples collected from different clinics . The researcher has applied the conversational analysis method on the samples to investigate the relationsh between doctor and patient and whether the data reveals and embodies the control and power of the doctor
