      In the historical context, commercial and consumer activities have undergone constant transformations arising from the development of new techniques and technologies. Such transformations involve different ways of producing and consuming. From a barter economy, where products were exchanged among themselves, there is, in contemporary times, a production and consumption that involve canvases, the dynamics of time and social relations in liquid-modern society, as well as the behavior of consumers. From a brief evolutionary observation on trade and consumption relations in antiquity and contemporaneity, we sought to understand how our relationship with canvas has been and how they influence commerce, consumption and, mainly, on the social relationships at the present time. In addition, we sought to understand, in the virtual context, who we are as viewers, television and marketing subjects who participate in social and consumer relations. In order to achieve the proposed objectives, it was necessary to develop an interview, in online format, on social networks to better understand the new trade and consumption relations in contemporary times. In all, 52 people were interviewed who answered about the time they use social networks, how they are part of their personal relationships, how and how often they make purchases on the internet. The research in a primary source also made it possible to draw a social profile of the interviewees and also whether they are prone to lasting or disposable social relationships. ; Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação) ; No contexto histórico, as atividades comerciais e de consumo têm passado por constantes transformações advindas do desenvolvimento de novas técnicas e tecnologias.
