نبذة مختصرة : The relevance of the problem. Against the background of transformations of Ukrainian society, spontaneity of economic socialization, contradictions arising from the clash of "old" and "new" standards in understanding the place of money in human life, there are shifts and difficulties in the economic socialization of young people.The Aim of the study is is to carry out a theoretical review of the main typologies of attitude to money and analyze their heuristic potential for researching the specifics of the economic socialization of student youth.Results. The study shows the internal and external factors of economic socialization in adolescence and youth, describes the typology of students' attitudes towards money.Conclusions. The number of typologies of attitudes to money identified by psychologists requires the reduction of the main monetary types into several groups: rational with a balanced attitude to money and monetary behavior adequate to the goals of life, and destructive of different directions (spending and saving). The economic socialization of students should be seen as a process of including them in the implementation of certain monetary behavior through the internalization of family attitudes, attitudes towards money and monetary actions of peers and significant adults, as well as through the actualization of the internal meanings of money in monetary behavior. The type of monetary behavior of students is the result of their economic socialization and should be taken into account in psychological support programs implemented by the psychological service of higher education institutions. ; ÐктуальніÑÑ‚ÑŒ проблеми.
