نبذة مختصرة : Ankyloglossia is a congenital anomaly that presents a pathological fold of the mucous membrane, which extends from the lower half of the tongue to the floor of the mouth, characterized by a short, thickened or abnormally tight lingual frenulum. The study aimed to analyze the association between the ankyloglossia and the production of speech phonemes, in addition the clinical characteristics at the level of the oral cavity, the most used treatments and techniques to improve the production of speech phonemes were evidenced. This research work was a bibliographic review of scientific bases such as: Google Scholar, Pubmed, Scielo, Medlineplus, Dialnet, Redalyc, CEFAC Journal and Elsevier, 831 articles were obtained from the scientific bases mentioned above, 96 academic sources were chosen considering the inclusion and exclusion criteria, each of them was validated according to the number of citations (ACC), the impact of the journal where it was published (SJR) and by the quartiles. The sample was constituted by 40 articles suitable for the development of the research. The results showed that there is an alteration in the production of speech phonemes, especially the phonemes /d/, /t/, /l/, /r/. Therefore, inter-consultation is important in order to treat it properly and to accompany it with speech therapy. ; La anquiloglosia es una anomalía congénita que presenta un pliegue patológico de la membrana mucosa, que se extiende desde la mitad inferior de la lengua hasta el piso de la boca, caracterizado por un frenillo lingual corto, engrosado o anormalmente apretado. El estudio se realizó con el objetivo de analizar su asociación con la producción de los fonemas del habla, además se evidenció las características clínicas a nivel de la cavidad oral, los tratamientos más utilizados y técnicas para mejorar la producción de los fonemas del habla.
