The work for the Conclusion of the Undergraduate Course in Social Service, in the form of an article, presents as a central issue the right to the city for the LGBTIA+ population in the midst of the contemporary crisis of capital and its metamorphoses, taking into account the lived reality of violation of their rights. rights on a daily basis. The general objective is to analyze the main violations of the rights of the LGBTIA+ population in accessing the city, as well as the specific ones that are limited to analyzing the main difficulties experienced by the LGBTIA+ population in accessing the city; understand the main opposing forces/subjects and “partners” and understand the contradictions of public policies that guarantee the right to the city for the LGBTIA+ population. The theoretical-methodological perspective adopted was based on historical-dialectical materialism, for this purpose, a documentary analysis was carried out based on the bibliographical survey that included academic productions such as articles, monographs, dissertations and theses that debate the topic, as well as sources of statistical documentation coming from census and governmental research, from communication vehicles that exposed the topic in question in some way, as well as data records exposed by non-governmental entities, these being collected within the temporality, largely, from 2022 to 2023.
