نبذة مختصرة : The aim of this study was to discuss the impacts of the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the daily lives of people in the rural area of the SUDAM-TO settlement. We sought to present the experiences and interactions of this population with ICT, focusing on relationships in social networks and within the context of the school environment. The research also serves to highlight the importance of technologies for the development of the settlement, influencing education, leisure, and economic activities carried out by the families of small-scale producers. The discussed study aims to demonstrate how ICT can be used as tools for innovation and inclusion. The research took into account the challenges faced by rural residents in accessing virtual spaces, initiating a discussion on forms of exclusion by ICT for some residents in rural areas. The methodology used was qualitative, involving non-structured oral interviews and bibliographic surveys based on readings of research and authors addressing the proposed theme, providing a theoretical foundation. As results, we emphasize the importance of improving the quality of life for rural individuals, aiming for their integration into various technology networks. ; O objetivo deste estudo foi debater sobre os impactos dos usos das Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação-TIC, no cotidiano das pessoas da zona rural do assentamento SUDAM-TO. Buscamos apresentar a vivência e o contato desse público com as TIC, a partir das relações nas redes sociais e no contexto do espaço escolar. A pesquisa serve ainda para evidenciar a importância das Tecnologias para a evolução do assentamento, influenciando na educação, no lazer e nas atividades econômicas desenvolvidas pelas famílias dos pequenos produtores.
