نبذة مختصرة : The objective of this research work was to analyze the development of fine motor skills in sensory development in preschool students at the “Faith and Joy” School of Basic Education. Fine motor skills refer to skills that involve small, precise movements of the hands and fingers, such as grasping objects, cutting, drawing, and writing. On the other hand, sensory development refers to the ability to process and respond to sensory information from the environment, such as touch, sight, hearing, and smell. The methodology used corresponds to a quantitative approach with a non-experimental design, the types of research, by level or scope, are descriptive, comparative, the psychometric technique and its instrument the Johane Durivage Test were used to evaluate the psychomotor profile of the preschooler, this instrument was applied to 62 children from initial II and first grade. The results were obtained that the vast majority of girls tend to show a more advanced development in fine motor skills compared to boys. In terms of sensory development, the differences are more subtle, but important because they work together, these Findings highlight the importance of encouraging and promoting the development of fine motor and sensory skills in the preschool education curriculum. ; El presente trabajo investigativo tuvo como objetivo analizar el desarrollo de las habilidades motrices finas en el desarrollo sensorial en los estudiantes de preescolar de la Escuela de Educación Básica “Fe y alegría”. La motricidad fina se refiere a las habilidades que involucran movimientos pequeños y precisos de las manos y los dedos, como agarrar objetos, recortar, dibujar y escribir. Por otro lado, el desarrollo sensorial se refiere a la capacidad de procesar y responder a la información sensorial proveniente del entorno, como el tacto, la vista, el oído y el olfato.
