EXPLOTACIÓN DIDÁCTICA DE UN ENCARGO REAL DE TRADUCCIÓN: ANÁLISIS DE DIFICULTADES EN LA TRADUCCIÓN DE UNA ESCRITURA DE COMPRAVENTA DE ACCIONES

En el presente estudio realizamos un análisis de algunas de las peculiaridades y dificultades de la traducción (inglés-español) de determinados textos puramente jurídicos con contenido económico-financiero. A modo de ejemplo realizamos la explotación didáctica de un encargo real de traducción, la traducción de un extracto de una escritura de compraventa de acciones, con el fin de analizar los problemas de traducción más frecuentes que presentan los alumnos de cuarto curso de la licen- ciatura de traducción e interpretación de la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. A la luz del mencionado análisis perfilamos el entramado de conocimiento terminológico y temático que el alumno necesita para la elaboración del texto meta. ; This paper deals with research into some of the peculiarities and difficulties of the translation from English into Spanish of certain texts which are strictly speaking legal texts, but include contents of a financial-economic nature. As an example we present a real translation assignment used in the classroom, namely the translation of a summary of a deed of sale of shares, with the aim of analysing the most frequent translation problems encountered by fourth-year students of the Faculty of Transla- tion and Interpreting of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. On the basis of this analysis, we outline the thematic and terminological knowledge that students need to acquire for the production of the target text.
