      Background - Traditional aphasia treatments can improve word retrieval difficulties in people with aphasia , however, therapy outcomes including the extent and duration of improvements can greatly vary between individuals. - Novel treatment approaches, such as a single bout of high intensity exercise, show the potential to enhance novel word learning performance - Effective word learning strategies have been shown to maximise novel word learning and novel word learning performance has been correlated with anomia treatment outcome
