      The aim of research work: To determine the characteristics of cognitive functions, quality of life and daily activities of depressed persons. Tasks of work: 1. To evaluate the features of cognitive functions of people with depression. 2. To assess the features of the quality of life of persons suffering from depression. 3. To assess the features of daily activities of depressed persons. Materials and methods: The current study was carried out from 2022. November 30 until March 1, 2023 VšĮ Vilnius City Mental Health Center in psychosocial rehabilitation, subacute states and day inpatient departments. A total of 60 individuals (44 women and 16 men) with depression participated in the study. Demographic data questionnaire, SF-36 health-related physical and mental quality of life questionnaire, Montreal Cognitive Test (MoCA) and created by the author of the work Activity of Daily Living assessment form. Data analysis was performed using the statistical analysis program "Excel". Results: In separate areas of cognitive functions, a statistically significant difference in the language area was found between subjects with moderate and severe depression (p=0,014). A total of 52 percent the weakening of cognitive functions manifested itself by the respondents. The subjects experienced the most difficulties in the areas of language, visual-spatial abilities (executive function) and long-term memory. The overall results of the MoCA test did not show a statistically significant difference (p=0,385). After analyzing the estimates of the subjects' quality of life, it was observed that satisfaction with individual areas of the quality of life decreases as the clinical condition of the subjects worsens. The best rated area of quality of life is physical activity, the worst is activity limitation due to emotional difficulties.
