Pregnant Women Diagnosed with Syphilis and Nursing Care ; Gestantes diagnosticadas com sífilis e os cuidados da Enfermagem

The objective article to describe the importance of nursing intervention for pregnant women diagnosed with syphilis. Methodology: A literature review was conducted, with a search in electronic databases and critical analysis of journals related to the topic. The search for materials was carried out in national and international databases such as the National Health Library (BVS), the Nursing Database (BDENF), and the Scientific Electronic Library Online (SCIELO). Studies that addressed nursing intervention in pregnant women diagnosed with syphilis, authored between 2018 and 2023 and published in Portuguese, were considered. Exclusion criteria included articles without declared authorship, journals published in foreign languages, and paid publications. Results: After analyzing the articles, the following categories for discussion were elaborated: nursing care for pregnant women diagnosed with syphilis, nursing assistance throughout the prenatal care of pregnant women with syphilis, and pregnant women's adherence to prescribed syphilis treatment. Conclusion: Nursing intervention is essential in the care of pregnant women diagnosed with syphilis, being fundamental for the prevention of vertical transmission and the promotion of the health of both mother and baby. ; O objetivo deste artigo foi descrever a importância da intervenção da enfermagem à gestante diagnosticada com sífilis. Metodologia: Realizou-se uma revisão da literatura, com busca em bases de dados eletrônicas e análise crítica dos periódicos relacionados ao tema. A busca de material foi realizada nas bases de dados nacionais e internacionais como a Biblioteca Nacional de Saúde (BVS), na Base de Dados de Enfermagem (BDENF), na Biblioteca Eletrônica Científica Online (SCIELO).
