نبذة مختصرة : En el ensayo Filosofía en la universidad, Schopenhauer pregunta si se puede enseñar filosofía; su respuesta es negativa, pues considera que la filosofía que se enseña no va en contravía de la ideología dominante y que pierde por ello no sólo la filosofía sino la verdad. A partir de esa pregunta se reflexiona sobre tres elementos fundamentales en la vida universitaria: la autonomía, la investigación y la libertad de cátedra, así como sobre la enseñanza y la enseñabilidad. ; At the “Philosophy at the university” essay, Schopenhauer questions if it is possible to teach philosophy, the answer he gives is negative, because he considers that the philosophy that is been thaugt does not go against the dominant ideology, losing at the same time not only the philosophy but the truth. Based on that question we have been thinking about three fundamental elements on the universitary life: The autonomy, the research and the lecture freedom. The essay also leads to question about the teaching and “teachability”. Schopenhauer requests to the state allow complete freedom to philosophy, to teachers and students leave comfort and laziness and investigate.
