RISK AND PROTECTIVE FACTORS ASSOCIATED WITH THE PREVALENCE OF HYPERTENSION, DIABETES AND OBESITY IN THE ADULT POPULATION OF LUDOVICENSE ; FACTORES DE RIESGO Y PROTECTORES ASOCIADOS A LA PREVALENCIA DE HIPERTENSIÓN, DIABETES Y OBESIDAD EN LA POBLACIÓN ADULTA LUDOVICENSE ; FATORES DE RISCOS E PROTEÇÃO ASSOCIADOS À PREVALÊNCIA DE HIPERTENSÃO, DIABETES E OBESIDADE NA POPULAÇÃO ADULTA LUDOVICENSE

Hypertension, diabetes and obesity have been a concern of various segments of society, due to the fact that they represent burdens of morbidity and mortality in the world and in Brazil. The aim of this study is to analyze the risk and protective factors associated with the Significantly Higher Prevalence (SSP) of Systemic Arterial Hypertension (SAH), Diabetes Mellitus (DM) and obesity in the adult population of Ludovicense, according to age, sex and schooling. Methods: Data from the Telephone Survey (Vigitel) from 2019 to 2021 were used. Results: In the proportion of the adult Ludovicense male population, the PSS of the behavioral risk factors smoking and alcohol abuse was verified for SAH; alcohol consumption for DM; and consumption of alcoholic beverages and consumption of soda for obesity. Regarding the protective factors, in the male sample it was verified PSS of the factors consumption of beans and practice of physical activity for SAH; consumption of vegetables, fruit consumption and consumption of beans for DM; and practice of physical activity, fruit consumption and bean consumption for obesity. It is concluded that strategic actions of health policies and programs are necessary to encourage greater frequency in the practice of physical activity, consumption of beans, fruits and vegetables in this public, in addition to raising awareness about the harms of frequent consumption of smoking, consumption of alcoholic beverages and consumption of soda. ; La hipertensión, la diabetes y la obesidad han sido una preocupación de diversos segmentos de la sociedad, debido al hecho de que representan cargas de morbilidad y mortalidad en el mundo y en Brasil.
