      Acompanha: Manual da acessibilidade descomplicada ; School adaptations are necessary to receive students with disabilities, which influence the process of appropriation of space by the student. It is understood that studies that relate the way accessible environments influence and contribute to student learning and how students experience this environment, in order to guarantee their well-being, are necessary. The research aims in general: To establish the relationship between architectural accessibility, behavior in the built space and the development of autonomy and the feeling of belonging to the school and the school community of students with physical disabilities. For the development of this research, bibliographic and field data were collected. The main instrument for collecting information were guided interviews promoted by the researcher. Through the analysis of the interviews, it was identified that the structural conditions of the school are important for the formation of the student. Still, the analysis of the collected data pointed to the need for architectural accessibility, in the learning process and for the socialization and use of the physical school space of students with disabilities. Given the importance of the topic, it is necessary to raise awareness and train the pedagogical team to work with students from early childhood education, for the formation of critical citizens.
