نبذة مختصرة : This thesis investigates, reviews and analyzes the techniques of musical production of the Djent metal style, and adapts and applies them in two unpublished themes created by the author of this work. Djent is an onomatopoeia that represents the sound of the guitars produced by a way of executing them and the tones used by the band Meshuggah, particularly by its guitarist, Frederik Thordendal. The two unpublished themes created for this thesis are the basis to illustrate and give practical support to the adaptation and application of the production techniques, methods and tools, detailing the phases of composition, development of definitive sounds, tracking planning (including that of guitars and vocals), editing, recording and mixing. The two unpublished themes are also proposed to nurture the Djent style repertoire in Ecuador. Therefore, this work not only aims to expand the understanding and visibility of a musical style that is not yet very developed in Ecuador and contributes to its growth.
