    • نبذة مختصرة :
An experimental investigation was conducted to examine the effects of fuel-air ratios, fuel composition and smoke-suppressant fuel additives on the sooting characteristics of a T-63 combustor. Multiple wavelength light transmission and two-angle light scattering measurements were used to measure the mean soot diameter. Ferrocene, 12% Cerium Hex-Cem and USLAD 2055 were found effective in reducing exhaust gas opacity. Initial results were conflicting on the cause for the reduced opacity. ; Approved for public release; distribution is unlimited. ; Naval Air Propulsion Center N6237686WR00013 ; Captain, Republic of Singapore Navy ; Naval Air Propulsion Center N6237686WR00013 ; http://archive.org/details/aninvestigationi1094521933
