ΔΕΝ ΔΙΑΤΙΘΕΤΑΙ ΠΕΡΙΛΗΨΗ ΣΤΑ ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΑ. ; During the period of World War II diplomacy was used as a development tool of protection and rescue operations in order to address the devastating effects of the war and the German anti-Jewish campaign. The article deals with the issues of a complex and continuous bargaining, and the protection techniques for Jews by analyzing the formulation and execution of successful protection programs and rescue strategies. It also presents the basic framework of diplomatic operations and their implementations. At the same time, however, the study analyzes the actors of the international system involved in public rescue operations. Not only the States, but also the international organizations, the humanitarian agencies, the private businesses and anyone who could be a potential lobbying body as well. The program of massive rescue is analyzed on a case-by-case basis. Actions and structures in countries with different political and cultural backgrounds, such as Denmark, France, Belgium, Hungary, Romania and Slovakia are also being described.
