Experimentos alternativos no ensino de ciências: experiências na educação básica

Experimentation can be one of the ways that provides the foundations for motivation and interest in the discipline of Science positively influencing learning, for this reason, it is important to be practiced and developed in schools. In this sense, the work sought to demonstrate that the experimentation carried out through alternative and low-cost materials has the possibility of filling some gaps existing in most public schools in Brazil in order to be a positive influence on student learning approaching the theory of Meaningful Learning, by David Ausubel, associated with Inquiry-Based Learning (ABI) which is one of the Active Methodologies. The research was developed in a public school in the city of Palmas/TO, in a class of the 7th year of Elementary School, in the discipline of Science. It was carried out, demonstration of alternative experiments and through questionnaires applied before and after the experimental demonstration in which data collection took place for an analysis of the students' prior knowledge, as well as the formation of new opinions and contribution to learning. In view of the results that proved to be positive, the experimental activities, being well planned, even using alternative and low-cost materials, can be configured as an integrated part of the construction of knowledge, because they can provoke in the student the development of the ability to see, to marvel at the investigative world, to ask questions and to think, effectively contributing to their learning. ; A experimentação pode ser um dos caminhos que proporciona os alicerces para a motivação e o interesse na disciplina de Ciências influenciando positivamente a aprendizagem, por este fato, é importante ser praticada e desenvolvida nas escolas.
