Identity caracterization of Brazilian Applied Linguistics: Theoretical aspects ; Caracterização identitária da Linguística Aplicada brasileira: Aspectos teóricos

In order to characterize the identity of Brazilian AL from the modus operandi undertaken by researchers from Postgraduate Programs in Applied Linguistics (AL) in Brazil in their theoretical studies, the theoretical framework was basically constituted by Leffa (1999), Paiva, Silva and Gomes (2009), Archanjo (2011), Nascimento and Silva (2015), Rocha and Daher (2015), Amorim (2017), Silva (2020) and Tomich and Silveira (2020). For this purpose, this work inventoried and analysed data collected from 7 (seven) questionnaires and then the same was done with 14 (fourteen) works published by the researchers, with 7 (seven) indicated by the participants and 7 (seven) selected by the authors from the Lattes curriculum. Methodologically, this is a qualitative explained and descriptive. As a result of this post-doctoral internship work, the following identity characteristics of Brazilian AL were identified: although distinct as an area of study, AL maintains a close relationship with Linguistics; there is detachment of the epistemological profile of AL when it was create; AL borrows and returns theoretical constructs in their relations with other (sub) areas of knowledge; Brazilian Applied Linguists can be characterized as entrepreneurs in the epistemological (re)construction movements in the area. ; O objetivo deste trabalho é caracterizar a identidade da Linguística Aplicada (LA) brasileira a partir do modus operandi empreendido por pesquisadores dos Programas de Pós-Graduação em Linguística Aplicada do Brasil em seus estudos teóricos. Para isso, usamos como construto teórico para discussão, basicamente, os seguintes autores: Leffa (1999), Paiva, Silva e Gomes (2009), Archanjo (2011), Nascimento e Silva (2015), Rocha e Daher (2015), Amorim (2017), Silva (2020) e Tomich e Silveira (2020).
