The incorporation of children as participants in investigative studies is a more frequent practi-ce nowdays due to the need to know and understand their vision about life experiences, which poses new challenges and responsibilities that focus mainly on ethical and methodological con-siderations of the investigation. This article describes the ethical aspects that should be taken into account in qualitative research with children. It is a review article with systematic search in databases, including scientific articles, books and gray literature. Likewise, we address the ethical considerations involved from the linking of the children as participants to the obtai-ning of the information and the socialization of the results. For the investigation, the relevant information was selected around eight subjects according to the investigative process. This showed that the ethical issue is a central aspect at the time of initiating and developing any re-search study, so it is present from its approach to its completion. It’s concluded that compliance with criteria of methodological rigor such as dependency, credibility, transferability and con-firmation, ensures the quality of qualitative research with children, and this allows the pro-per application of ethical principles of beneficence and non-maleficence, justice, autonomy and confidentiality. ; Introducción: La incorporación de los niños como participantes de estudios investigativos es una práctica más frecuente debido a la necesidad de conocer y entender su visión acerca de las experiencias de vida, planteando nuevos retos y responsabilidades que se centran principalmente en las consideraciones éticas y metodológicas de la investigación.
