      Product of a formative research process within the framework of the Bachelor of Natural Sciences and Environmental Education of the Pedagogical and Technological University of Colombia and the GECOS research group, it is evidenced in the book "Curriculum in natural sciences. Tendencies, interstices and possibilities" the improvement of the pedagogical practice in teachers of initial and continuous training, through research projects developed in different contexts that offer tools, strategies and methodologies for the teaching and learning of the natural sciences, from theory-practice articulation, reflection-action, and the construction of a critical and propositive thought, facing the needs and challenges that the current world presents from an open, flexible, diverse and multicultural curriculum that tries to generate questions about of the teacher's role as a researcher who teaches students to think through their previous experiences and knowledge, weaving them with their scientific knowledge in order to understand the nature of science from real contexts, in order to provide opportunities that contribute to the improvement of the quality of life, and that respond in a pertinent manner to cultural, environmental, social, economic, educational, technological and scientific problems, among others, as well as to the strengthening of the life project of the different actors of the community educational. ; Producto de un proceso de investigación formativa en el marco de la Licenciatura de Ciencias Naturales y Educación Ambiental de la Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia y el grupo de investigación GECOS, se evidencia en el libro “Currículo en ciencias naturales.
