      Over time, plasters tend to present pathologies such as: efflorescence, stains, detachments, among others, due to the presence of climatic effects such as: precipitation, temperature variations, humidity content in the environment, noting that the excessive presence of water generates conservation problems in the plaster, causing it to tend to separate its materials and the aforementioned pathologies mentioned before. Therefore, in this research work it was proposed to develop a mortar that has less capillary absorption by replacing the percentage of Rice Husk Ash (RHA). To achieve this objective, test tubes were made replacing cement in 5%, 10%, 15% and 20% by RHA, subjecting them to tests of: compressive strength, workability, setting time, sorptivity and weathering. We found that RHA effectively reduces the absorption capacity of the mortar and consequently a lower presence of humidity, preventing it from deteriorating over time. It should be noted that the optimal proposal is the mortar with replacement of 10% of RHA corresponding to a dosage of 4,20 kg of cement, 37,50 kg of fine aggregate, 0,47 kg of RHA and 3,25 L of water for 1 m2 of plaster with a thickness of 1,5 cm. This sustainable mortar with RHA addition could be useful in reducing moisture damage in plastering mortars. ; Los enlucidos tienden con el pasar del tiempo a presentar patologías como: eflorescencias, manchas, desprendimientos, entre otras, debido a la presencia de efectos climáticos como: precipitaciones, variaciones de temperatura, contenido de humedad en el ambiente, notando que la presencia excesiva del agua genera problemas de conservación en el enlucido haciendo que la misma tienda a separar sus materiales y desarrollarse las patologías antes mencionadas.
