Heideggerian 'Sorge' is a multi-layered concept. This paper aims to deconstruct it, starting on the one hand from the textual places in which it emerges (mainly the lessons before Being and Time) and on the other hand from the sources that we find in these same Heideggerian pages. Although it may seem a mere philological work, we believe that this paper is interesting precisely for this 'Full contact' with the different traditions in which the theme of 'cure' appears (from the Greeks to the Christian world, from Philosophy of existence to Philosophy of history, from ancient to romantic Literature). We mean (1) historical interest: indeed Heidegger builds 'his' idea of Sorge confronting the different ways in which 'historically' the 'cure' has been said (in Latin, Greek, German). (2) Theoretical interest: in fact, Heidegger was able to 'ontologize' and universalise the experience of ‘care’ – considering it the very heart of our being – because it really was and is a universal experience: in our relationship with ourselves (care of himself), with the world and the things we take care of (Besorgen), and with the others, 'for' and with whom we live all our care (Fürsorge).
