نبذة مختصرة : The present work superficially approaches the process of evaluation of school learning, focusing on the context of the discipline of Physics, with emphasis on High School. The objective is to show that the experimentation mechanism can be a very important way during the teaching and learning evaluation process. A brief literature review on the history of physics in Brazil is also presented. Perhaps, for a good part of the people who are attending or who will attend high school, studying physics is important and, as difficult as it is, due to the strong presence of mathematics, it is necessary to understand the world around us. However, many times the way of explaining it or of evaluating the knowledge acquired in physics by the students is hindering this enthusiasm and thus causing some discontent. As a suggestion to change the panorama of evaluations, some evaluation criteria are also presented as a suggestion. The intention is to assist in the suppression of a demand much discussed in the literature, which are experimental activities, thus recommending that the teacher evaluate his students with experimental practices. For that, some experimental activities are proposed in the appendices of this work, in addition to a quantitative model for evaluation and one for organizing the experiments. ; O presente trabalho aborda de forma superficial o processo de avaliação da aprendizagem escolar, detendo-se ao contexto da disciplina de Física, com ênfase ao Ensino Médio. O objetivo é o de evidenciar que o mecanismo da experimentação pode ser uma forma muito importante durante o processo de avaliação de ensino e aprendizagem. É também apresentada uma breve revisão bibliográfica sobre a história da física no Brasil.
