      Since January 1, 2000, Complementary Universal Health Coverage has been implemented to put an end to the inequalities observed in terms of access to care. It gives right to free complementary cover and is subject to means testing and residency.It guarantees people with the lowest incomes the right to additional coverage. For these disadvantaged populations, access to care can pose difficulties and have an impact on their state of health.Our study was carried out by a cross-sectional quantitative survey by hetero-questionnaire face-to-face with a random sample of CMU-C beneficiaries, policyholders and legal beneficiaries of legal age in the department of Seine-Saint-Denis. The investigation was carried out on a random sample of 250 people from the beneficiary population of CMU-C.Its objective was to assess the health and administrative satisfaction and the conditions of access to the care received by the beneficiaries of the CMU-C in the territory of Seine-Saint-Denis, in regards to the socio-demographic profile of this population. Sanitary and administrative satisfaction and the renunciation of care for financial reasons are the three major elements that make it possible to assess overall satisfaction, on a disadvantaged population in terms of socio-economics, health and access to care.We have been able to observe that, in fact, social inequalities in health and access to care persist. These obstacles are numerous and the non-use of rights is an important phenomenon. The renunciation of care is linked to a set of individual factors related to precariousness; it is in itself a public health issue. The refusal of care, by some health professionals towards CMU-C beneficiaries. Finally, the “threshold effect” is the result of the conditions of resources for obtaining the CMU-C.These obstacles reinforce the difficulties of the most precarious populations in accessing care, and the socio-demographic profile had consequences both on the perception of the state of health of the beneficiaries and on the use of care. ...
