Pronominal placement according to Educational Sociolinguistics: the proclitic case in textual genres of the everyday sphere ; Colocação pronominal à luz da Sociolinguística Educacional: o caso proclítico em gêneros textuais da esfera cotidiana

Adaptation to enclitic cases in Brazilian Portuguese, hereinafter referred to as BP, has been shown to assume a proclitic change even in contexts that require the use of the pronoun in enclitic form. This fact is demonstrated by studies such as those by Mattos e Silva (2004) and Vieira (2013), that focus on the aforementioned ‘linguistic change’. The case of pronominal placement goes through the regiment of canonical regulations, imposed by sixteenth-century grammar, which culminates in teaching units far from the students’ linguistic reality (BORTONI-RICARDO, 2005; FARACO, 2008). The article is based on the theoretical-methodological assumptions of Educational Sociolinguistics and the Pedagogy of Linguistic Variation (FARACO, 2008; VIEIRA, 2019). That said, this scientific text, motivated by the aforementioned problem, aims, in a general perspective, to analyze whether there is vitality to the proclisis, mesoclisis and enclisis in texts of standard BP in different textual genres. Therefore, the specific objectives consist of: (i) verifying the pronominal placement in texts according to the genres Article of Opinion, Charge, Interview, News, Propaganda and Comics; (ii) investigate whether there is a high productivity of pronominal placement in the context of proclisis; (iii) display the results obtained in graphs; (iv) present a proposal for a didactic unit having the placement and pronominal change of BP as a guiding axis. To achieve the stated objectives, the methodology of the article consists of qualitative and quantitative descriptive research, which considers the position of unstressed clitic pronouns in 60 texts, distributed according to six textual genres. The results indicated a predilection for the use of proclisis in the genres: Interview, Opinion Article and Comics.
